INTRODUCTION TO BRO. TERRY'S HOME PAGE!

NOTICE: Except for the pure infallible preserved words of the Lord in the Holy Bible, I make no claims of infallibility regarding the contents of my web-site.

Disclaimer: The contents of this web-site is not intended to accuse individuals. There are many faithful believers in various religious denominations, including Roman Catholicism, who serve God to the best of their ability and are seen by God as His children (hence, "Come out of her, my people," Rev. 18:4). These believers, faithful to their church's teachings, have fallen victim to one or more of Satan's many snares, devices and false doctrines. The information contained herein is directed only towards false religious teachings, such as is taught by Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, Freemasonry, Scientology, and the Roman Catholic religio-political system that has reigned in varying degrees of power for nearly two millennia which has established an increasing number of doctrines and statements that clearly go against Scripture.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

“and his name is called The Word of God.” (Rev. 19:13) — “for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” (Psa. 138:2)

“And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.” (Acts 13:48)

“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:” (II Thess. 3:1)

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalms 119:105)

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” (Psalms 119:130)

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (I Corinthians 2:14)

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)

Come now, and let us reason together . . .

Introduction

The purpose of this web-site is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ by proclaiming His word and by exposing any teaching or tradition that robs Him of the glory, honor and praise that He alone deserves: who “by himself purged our sins” — He alone suffered and died for our sins, and He alone rose from the dead for our justification and redemption (Rom. 4:25; Heb. 1:3). The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance and the knowledge of the truth (II Pet. 3:9; I Tim. 2:4; John 17:17). It is my love for God and compassion for people that persuades me to proclaim that Jesus Christ is sufficient to save sinners completely and independent of any extra-biblical traditions, ecclesiastical councils, or canons of any visible church. As history shows that religious leaders and institutions can, and often do, become corrupt, our only assurance to genuine faith, “the faith which was once delivered unto the saints,” is from the objective, infallible word of God (Jude 1:3). The Scripture, and the Scripture only, can be the final judge or rule in matters of religion (II Tim. 3:16; Psa. 12:6,7; Prov. 30:5,6). My heart’s desire is to see everyone embrace the Lord Jesus Christ as their all-sufficient Savior and enjoy the salvation He alone sovereignly secured on the cross at Calvary for all who trust Him. It is my sincere prayer that all will repent and turn from their sins and come to Jesus with a humble and contrite heart and empty hands of faith, bringing nothing but their sins to the cross. Only then will one know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, and the peace of God which passes all understanding (Eph. 3:19; Phil. 4:7).

“Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” (Eph. 5:14)

Are you disillusioned by religion? Are you confused or unsure about the Bible and Christianity? Have you been misled, abused or wounded by organized religion, religious leaders or spiritual guides who place their own opinions and private interpretations of the scriptures above the Holy Bible which is the pure preserved written word of God (Psa. 12:6; Prov. 22:20,21; 30:5,6; Mark 13:31; II Cor. 2:17; I Thess. 2:13)? Have you been let down by those whom you looked up to for inspiration and guidance? This web site may help you recover and restore your faith in God's truth (“thy word is truth”John 17:17), and avoid the mistakes of thinking more highly of man, or of man-made religions, than we ought to think. (Psa. 118:8; Prov. 3:5,7; 16:19; 26:12; Rom. 12:3; II Peter 1:20)

“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” (Psa. 118:8)

For thousands of years mankind's search for the one true God has resulted in a myriad of false gods and an almost endless number of assorted systems of philosophy and theology based on each man's personal beliefs and experiences and dictated by his own subjective feelings, opinions and preferences. This cacophony of contradictory beliefs is a result of man's fall as recorded in the scriptures. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God's words in the garden of Eden and chose to “be as gods” and decide for themselves what is good and what is evil, man spiritually died and allowed sin into the world (Gen. 3:1-6; Rom. 5:12) and forfeited his dominion over all the earth (Gen. 1:26), and allowed Lucifer “the great dragon...that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world” (Is. 14:12-14; Rev. 12:9) to become “the god of this world” (Luke 4:4-6; 2 Cor. 4:4). Through disobedience man's heart became deceitful above all things and desperately wicked (Jer. 17:9); and now man is his own god as he continues to doubt and disobey God's words (the scriptures - Prov. 30:5,6; 2 Tim. 3:16), preferring to hear and obey his own inner voice, “every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.” (Deut. 12:8; Judges 17:6)

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.” (Prov. 21:2)

To this day most men search in vain for the only true God, and in vain do they worship him teaching extra-biblical traditions and doctrines of men. Jesus Christ said, “[T]he words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63); and “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31,32). He said that his “word is truth” (John 17:17), “And ye shall know the truth,” (John 8:32). The words of the Lord, the holy scriptures, are God's means of revealing himself to mankind (II Tim. 3:15; II Pet. 1:3), as even the “faith” through which we are saved “by grace” (Eph. 2:8) “cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17). And it is only by knowing the true scriptures can we know the true God and worship him “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23,24). (See Scripture Preservation and Scripture Corruption!)

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit [“the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit” 6:63] and in truth [“thy word is truth” 17:17]: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” (John 4:23)

No one has a monopoly on the gospel of Christ. We will never know all things; but the Lord told us that he would reveal his words unto us if we would humble our heart and have “a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart,” and repent and turn from our sins and “search the scriptures” and seek the wisdom and honor that comes from God only: “Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures” (Psa. 25:9; 51:17; 66:2; Deut. 29:29; Prov. 28:13; John 5:39,44; 8:31; Acts 17:11; Luke 24:45). King David said, “I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.” (Psa. 119:101). I, and others of like precious faith, who choose to “Fear God, and keep his commandments” and “depart from evil” have been accused of being “know-it-alls” by certain “unlearned and unstable” individuals who “hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:” (Eccl. 12:13; II Pet. 3:16; Prov. 1:29; 16:6). By trusting their own worldly wisdom over the simplicity of the scriptures, and being “lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;” “having loved this present world,” they have been given over to various delusions, including ancient/modern pagan idolatries (II Tim 3:4; 4:10). But I have never pretended to be “holier than thou” or to “know-it-all” (Isa. 65:5). I don't claim to have perfect knowledge, for no one does; but I pray and strive daily to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ (II Pet. 3:18). In fact, it is not what I say, or what you say, or what others say, but “what the scripture saith” (Rom. 4:3; 11:2; Gal. 4:30); and not “what the scripture saith” according to church theologians, personal opinion or private interpretation, but “what the scripture saith” according to that which is written in the scriptures and interpreted by that which is written in the scriptures (Eccl. 12:10; Matt. 4:4,7,10; I Cor. 2:13,14; II Tim. 2:15 II Pet. 1:20): “yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;” (Rom. 3:4). Our best opinions are flawed and “altogether vanity” (Psa. 39:5). We must allow God's word to correct us and be our final authority, because “Every word of God is pure” and “All scripture is given...for correction” and “instruction” (Prov. 30:5,6; II Tim. 3:16): “When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:” (Prov. 6:22,23).

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (II Tim. 3:16).

There are many ways and roads in life that seem right and good, but they all lead to the same destination – “the ways of death”and “everlasting destruction” (Matt. 7:13; Prov. 16:25; II Thess. 1:9). Some people will no doubt be offended by certain information presented in this article and on this web site. But the truth must be told. The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, and has a way of dividing the true from the false (Eph. 6:17; Heb. 4:12). The scriptures are given to us for correction and instruction, to unite us with God and divide us from the world (II Tim. 3:16; Rom. 12:2). Jesus said, “I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” (John 17:14). Many people were offended in Jesus' day when he preached the gospel of salvation through repentance and faith. Even many of Jesus' own disciples turned back from following him when his sayings got hard (John 6:60-67). But this did not stop Jesus nor his apostles from proclaiming the truth and exposing the deceptions of the devil. True Christians must never let down the standard of true holiness. We must proclaim the glorious news of God's mercy and forgiveness towards those who repent, and also warn the unconverted and the deceived about the rewards of sin and of eternal damnation. Jesus said that the unconverted and unregenerated “shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” (Matt. 25:46).

Those who choose to live in error will inevitably rant and rave against true Bible believers. Those who choose to cling to the world will falsely accuse true Bible preachers of being "unloving" or "judgmental." But we must never allow their hypocritical rantings and ravings to deter us from preaching the truth of the gospel. Christians are given the charge to “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” (II Tim. 4:2), as the apostle Paul said, “warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom;” (Col. 1:28). “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” (II Tim. 4:3,4). If what is being promoted as Christianity does not line up with the scriptures or is contradictory to sound doctrine, we must sound the trumpet alarm of truth and warn others, “in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.” (Phil. 2:15,16)

“From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.” (John 6:66-68)

Throughout the history of the church, from the time of the apostles in the first century, true Christians have been persecuted and “reproached for the name of Christ,” (I Pet. 4:14). The apostle Paul said, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” (II Tim. 3:12). Jesus said, “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.” (Luke 21:17). Many of these persecutions arise from within the church, as even Paul was forsaken by a number of his fellow Christians (II Tim. 4:10-16). King David said, “For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.” (Psa. 55:12-14). Following the true Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will not earn you the praises and honor of mankind (John 5:44; 12:43). In fact Jesus said, “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.” (Luke 6:22). Jesus said to “Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven:” (Luke 6:23). Others may forsake us, and even our friends may forget us: but the Lord promised his people saying, “[T]hey may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” (Isa. 49:15). Again, King David said, “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” (Psa. 9:10)

“Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.” “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” “The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.” . (“thy word is truth” John 17:17) (Psa. 34:18; 62:8; 145:18; 147:3)

Does your heart long for “the living and true God”, “the God of all comfort;” who “comforteth those that are cast down”? Does your heart and soul desire “to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge”? Does your heart and mind seek lasting peace, “the peace of God, which passeth all understanding”? Do you truly “hunger and thirst” for “the kingdom of God and his righteousness” and for “the bread of life” which is “The Word of God”? Have you “esteemed the words of his mouth more than” your “necessary food”? (“As the hart [deer] panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:”) Do you love “the praise of God” more than “the praise of men”? And do you seek “the honour that cometh from God only”? Jesus Christ is the answer you have been searching for. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Job 23:12; Psa. 42:1,2; Isa. 26:3; Jer. 10:10; Matt. 5:6; 6:33; Luke 8:11; John 5:44; 6:35; 12:43; 14:27; Acts 4:12; II Cor. 1:3; 7:6; Eph. 3:19; Philip. 4:7; I Thess. 1:9; I Pet. 1:23; Rev. 19:13)

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” (I Tim. 2:5)

.

In the book of Isaiah we are told to “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” (Isa. 55:6,7,8). And speaking by the mouth of Jeremiah the prophet, the Lord said, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jer. 29:13).

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.” (Jer. 9:23,24; Matt. 23:23; Luke 11:42)

Some people say, “Follow your heart.” But the Bible informs us that “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked” and “He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool” (Jer. 17:9; Prov. 28:26). Jesus said, “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within” (Mark 7:21,22,23). In Biblical times the children of Israel “sinned against the LORD their God” by routinely compromising with the heathen nations around them, setting up images and idols and adopting pagan religious customs, and “every man did that which was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25; II Kings 17:7; Jer. 10:2). In the Jewish dispensation, howsoever his people attempted to legitimize their pagan practices, God rejected their forms of worship. Today God's people are enticed with some of the same types of allurements, the temptation to compromise the words of the Lord with the ways of the world. Many are engaging in various forms of idolatry, setting up images of and praying to saints – all in the name of Christianity. But know that in the Gospel dispensation God will not accept nor excuse this type of behavior anymore than he did in the old dispensation (I Cor. 10:5-22; I Tim. 2:5; Heb. 12:24-29). Yes, “God is love.” (1 John 2:4; 4:8; 5:3). But, God is also “a consuming fire, even a jealous God.” (Ex. 20:5; Deut. 4:24; I Cor. 10:22; Heb. 12:29).

“Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.” (Rom. 11:20,21,22)

And just as “the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the LORD their God”, “and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt”, many “Christians” today are following their intuitions, or their personal feelings, or their church's “revelations” from heaven, and are leaning to their “own understanding” to “worship” or “please” God, and “have chosen their own ways”, “every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes” (Prov. 3:5; Acts 7:39; Isa. 53:6; 56:11; 66:3; Deut. 12:8). Some people say, “Trust your feelings.” But the Bible said, “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man” (Jer. 17:5,9). Some people say, “Let your conscience be your guide.” But the Bible said to let “the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost” which is “The Word of God” be your “guide” (John 1:1; 14:26; 16:13; I Peter 1:23; I John 5:7; Rev. 19:13). Some people say, “Search your heart for the truth.” But Jesus said to “Search the scriptures” for “the truth”, and “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth [“thy word is truth”], and the truth shall make you free.” (John 5:39; 8:31,32; 17:17). King David said, “Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.” (Psa. 119:114)

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28-30). “Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.” (Jer. 6:16). “To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.” (Isa. 28:12). “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they [the scriptures] are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” . (John 5:39,40)

In this day of compromise, confusion and delusion, when fiction and fantasy is promoted as reality, when fables are preferred over truth; when personal experiences and opinions are taking the place of Biblical reasoning, when people's feelings and emotions mean more than facts; when traditions and commandments of men are elevated to Scripture status, when pagan customs are being passed off as Christian traditions and most church folks are willing active participants; when the Biblical definitions of words are being changed to accommodate fallen man's philosophies and theologies; when many in the church-world will not endure sound doctrine but will allow their own private interpretations of the scriptures, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes; when many professing Christians are departing from the Biblical faith which was once delivered unto the saints, and are giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding the clergy to marry, and commanding to abstain from certain meats on supposed “holy days”; when men are lovers of their own selves, covetous, proud, disobedient to parents, false accusers, despisers of those that are good, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth; and when morals, values and theologies change with the wind, it is reassuring to know that we have an unmovable foundation, Jesus Christ the rock of our salvation, the faithful Creator whose words will never cease nor change: (Deut. 12:8; Psa. 12:6,7; 18:2; 95:1; 119:89,90; Isa. 51:1; Mal. 3:6; Matt. 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 6:48; John 1:1,14; Eph. 2:20; 3:9; 4:14; II Thess. 2:11; I Tim. 4:1-3; II Tim. 3:1-5,16; Heb. 13:8; I Pet. 1:23; II Pet. 1:20; 4:19; Rev. 19:13) (See also The "Evangelical" Seduction)

“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations:” (Psa. 119:89,90). “Every word of God is pure:” (Prov. 30:5). “Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.” (Psa. 119:140). “The words of the LORD are pure words.... Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” (Psa. 12:6,7). “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” (Matt. 5:18). “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matt. 24:35). “The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.” (Psa. 33:11). “For I am the LORD, I change not” (Mal. 3:6). “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Heb. 13:8). “It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4). “Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” (Psa. 119:160). “Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.” (Psa. 119:152). “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” (Rom. 15:4). “This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.” “I hope in thy word.” “in his word do I hope.” (Psa. 119:50,114; 130:5)

“All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.” (Prov. 8:8,9). “a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:” (Psa. 111:10). “the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” (Prov. 9:10). “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” (Psa. 119:130). “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (I Cor. 2:14). “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.... That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” (John 3:3,6). “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63). “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (I Peter 1:23). “Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt. 18:3). “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.... A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:5-8)

With all of the different religions of the world, and with so many different doctrines and beliefs among the various Christian churches today, how are we to know what is true and what is not true? God's word, the Holy Bible, has all the answers (See THE HOLY BIBLE — Authorized Version — KJV BIBLE FACTS). But how many people know what the Holy Bible says? Consider the following verses: Jeremiah says, “The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.” (Jer. 28:9). But Deuteronomy says, “If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deut. 13:1-3). The gospel of Mark says, “And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” (Mark 16:20). But the gospel of Matthew says, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matt. 24:24).

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Prov. 14:12).

The scriptures plainly show us that signs and wonders are not a safe way of determining the truth. In the book of Acts God “granted signs and wonders” to be done by the apostles to confirm the word of the Lord and to validate the scriptures written by them (Acts 14:3). But signs and wonders can also be used to deceive. Paul writes, “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” (II Thess. 2:9). Remember, even Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus, whom Jesus called “a devil” was given “power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.” (John 6:70; Matt. 10:1). We can see by the scriptures that signs and wonders and miracles are not a good criterion to follow for recognizing the difference between a true prophet and a false prophet and discerning “between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not” (Mal. 3:18).

“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Prov. 16:25).

How then are we to know the truth? Are we to trust a “confirmation” in our heart? Is that good feeling or witness in our heart a biblical and safe way of ascertaining the truth? Consider the testimony of a recent convert: “Until the very second that I made my declaration, I wasn't entirely convinced that it was what I wanted to do. Would I wake up one day and want to change my mind? Would I feel like I had made a huge mistake? But already I feel as if my life has been transformed. I don't know how to describe it, but the moment I said those words, my heart filled with joy and love and it took about four days for me to come back down off the ceiling.” This sure sounds like a wonderful Christian testimony. However, this testimony was not made by a born again Christian, but by a recent convert to Islam (“Why I took the hijab,” The Guardian, June 20, 2002). The Muslim receives a confirmation in his heart that his religion is true. The Hindu receives a confirmation in his heart that his religion is true. The Catholic receives a confirmation in his heart that his religion is true. The Mormon receives a confirmation in his heart that his religion is true. The Freemason receives a confirmation in his heart that his religion is true. The Jehovah's Witness receives a confirmation in his heart that his religion is true. Even the Wiccan (a Witchcraft practitioner) and Satanist receives a confirmation in his heart that his religion is true. Trusting a confirmation in our heart is both un-biblical and un-safe. (While there are “many antichrists” and “many deceivers” in the world today (I John 2:18; II John 1:7), the chief usurpers of Christianity are Catholicism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, Freemasonry and Scientology. The reader will find several articles of documented facts on this web site exposing many of the un-biblical and anti-biblical teachings of these dangerous religious cults. The Luciferian doctrines of devils of Jesuitical Freemasonry are exposed in this end-time world-wide deception.) (see also Important Message To Visitors)

“He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.” (Prov. 28:26).

Again, consider the following statement made by a high profile individual whom many considered to be a model Christian: “If in coming face to face with God we accept Him in our lives, then we....become a better Hindu, a better Muslim, a better Catholic, a better whatever we are....What God is in your mind you must accept.” (Love, A Fruit Always In Season:, Daily Meditations By Mother Teresa, 1987, pp. 49,50). This astonishing statement was not made by a New Age Guru, but by a well known and highly respected Catholic, Mother Teresa. And this is why the Lord warned us in the scriptures that we should never trust in our own heart because the human “heart is deceitful above all things” (Jer. 17:9). The Hindu god and the Muslim god is not the true God of Christianity: “or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?” (II Cor. 6:15,16). We are told to “come out from among them,” and “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” (II Cor. 6:17; Eph. 5:11). But someone will say, “Mother Teresa did many good deeds and many wonderful works in her life.” But hear what Jesus Christ himself said concerning our good deeds: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt. 7:21-23). You might ask, “But how can this be so?” God sees man's heart for what it is: “deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked” (Jer. 17:9). Man sees man's heart as he desires to see it: inherently good, “every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.” (Deut. 12:8). The prophet Isaiah said, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;” (Isa. 64:6). “[V]erily every man at his best state is altogether vanity.” (Psa. 39:5).

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” (II Cor. 6:14,17)

Like Mother Teresa's unscriptural philosophies and teachings, many professing Christians today are teaching “another Jesus” of “another spirit” of “another gospel” (an inclusive Jesus of Luciferian Theosophy), and not the true historical Jesus of Biblical Christianity, the true Jesus of the preserved scriptures of “the everlasting gospel” that will not change and “shall not pass away” (Psa. 12:6,7; Prov. 30:5,6; Matt. 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33; Rom. 15:4; II Cor. 11:4; Heb. 13:8; Rev. 14:6; 22:18,19). The following information reveals some disturbing facts that should be of great concern to anyone claiming to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. For example, George W. Bush, the 43rd U.S. President, claims to be a “born again Christian.” Few people who profess to be Christians today know, or care, that Bush believes and has stated publicly that Christians and Muslims all worship the same God. In an October 26, 2004 interview when Charles Gibson of ABC News asked Bush, “Do we all worship the same God, Christian and Muslim?” Bush said, “I think we do. We have different routes of getting to the Almighty,” (see Bush on Religion and God, Official ABC News Transcript). Another illustration of these types of anti-Biblical ecumenical practices was displayed by the head of the Roman Catholic church, Pope John Paul II, when he publicly kissed the Koran, Islam's “holy” book; and when he publicly received the mark of Shiva on his forehead by a Hindu priestess (Shiva is a Pagan Hindu god). From 1985 to 2002 the Pope also joined in prayer with and acknowledged as true other Pagan religions such as Buddhism, Voodoo worshipers and others, and has denied, by his actions, that Christianity is the only true religion on Earth (see Pope John Paul II - Kisses the Koran; Receives Mark of Shiva; Buddhism; Voodoo; Pagan Religions). Even Billy Graham, one of the most highly respected “Evangelical Christians” of the twentieth century, has publicly stated in a television interview with Robert Schuller on May 31, 1997 that he believes Jesus Christ is Not the only way to heaven (see Official Transcript from the "Hour of Power" show). The delusional beliefs and behaviors of the aforementioned individuals and the statements made by them gravely contradict the scriptures and simply cannot be reconciled with the Biblical message of salvation: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6); “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

“For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.” (Psalms 96:4,5)

So how do we know the truth? The apostle Paul said to “let God be true, but every man a liar” (Rom. 3:4). The only way to know what is true and what is not true is to know “what saith the scripture” (Rom. 4:3; Gal. 4:30). Jesus said, “Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures” (Matt. 22:29). Isaiah said, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word [“the holy scriptures”II Tim.3:15], it is because there is no light in them.” (Isa. 8:20). Jesus said, “Search the scriptures”, and “If ye continue in my word . . . ye shall know the truth” (John 5:39; 8:31,32). God gave us his written word to give us “hope” and “comfort” and the promise of “everlasting life” (Rom. 15:4; John 3:15,18; 6:63). And God also gave us his written word to keep us from deceiving ourselves and to keep us form being deceived by others (Matt. 24:4; Rom. 12:3; I Cor. 3:18; 4:6). The scriptures are given to us “for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” to keep the Lord's people from wondering off course and to “keep the feet of his saints” firmly planted upon the solid foundation of the truth — “thy word is truth.” (II Tim. 3:16; I Sam. 2:9; I Cor. 3:11; John 17:17).

“I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth:” (Isa. 45:19). “I have not spoken in secret from the beginning” (Isa. 48:16). “For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.” (Deut. 30:11). “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” (Psalms 68:11). “And the word of God increased.” (Acts 6:7). “But the word of God grew and multiplied.” (Acts 12:24). “And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.” (Acts 13:49). “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” (Acts 19:20).

The Holy Bible repeatedly assures us that “Every word of God is pure” (Prov. 30:5) and that God himself “shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” (Psa. 12:7). Sadly, many people today do not believe that God promised to preserve his “pure words” “for ever” “to all generations” and “to all nations for the obedience of faith” (Psa. 12:6; 33:11, 119:90; Acts 2:6,7; Rom. 16:26). Even within conservative Christian churches today many people have come to doubt the preservation of the scriptures. Due to a “lack of knowledge” on the subject of Bible manuscript corruption and scripture preservation, many modern-day Christians are using a variety of modern Bible versions with little or no forethought of the possible negative repercussions due to the many changes in the texts of modern versions (Hosea 4:6). Throughout the Bible we are warned against tampering with God's words: “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it” (Deut. 4:2). “I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.” (Eccl. 3:14). “Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” (Prov. 30:5,6; Rev. 22:18,19). Are all of the subtle and not so subtle changes in new Bible versions just a harmless coincident? Or is there an unholy reason for these changes?

In the Holy Bible there are scores of references to handling the word of God deceitfully and corrupting the words of God. Throughout the scriptures there are dozens of references to conspiracies and conspirators. Is God a conspiracy theorist? Or is God telling us something here that we need to pay closer attention to? Conspiracies are as much a part of the history of the world as sin is a part of the history of man. Absalom and his party conspired against David (II Sam. 15:12,31); the servants of Joash and Amaziah conspired against them (II Kings 12:20; 14:19); Shullum conspired against Zachariah (II Kings 15:10); Pekah conspired against Pekahiah (II Kings 15:25); Hoshea conspired against Pekah and Shalmaneser (II Kings 15:30; 17:4); the Pharisees, scribes, and chief priests conspired to “take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.” (Matt. 12:14; 26:3,4); more than forty Jews conspired to kill the apostle Paul (Acts 23:13); in Jeremiah 11:9 and Ezekiel 22:25 many of the Jews and their false prophets conspired to reject God's authority:

“There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things;... Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean” (Ezek. 22:25,26).

Throughout history we see conspiracies to assassinate leaders of countries; conspiracies to overthrow governments; “spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph. 6:12); etc. Adolf Hitler and his associates conspired to take over the world (See also History Channel Video Documentary: Religious Organization Helped Nazi War Criminals Escape Justice After WWII; and also 20th Century Atrocities of the R.C. Church). The Bible says that Lucifer (the great dragon, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world) conspired with one third of the angels of heaven to overthrow God (Isa. 14:14; Rev. 12:4-9). The fact that so many people today take conspiracies lightly and think so little of conspiracies does not mean that conspiracies have ceased or abated. To the contrary, propaganda in the news media and other sources to dissuade people from taking conspiracies seriously is further proof that conspiracies are an ongoing part of our history; and the dangers posed against true, historical, Biblical Christianity are far greater than most people realize.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first” (II Thess. 2:3).

The Bible says that in the last days “God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,” (II Thess. 2:11,12). And what is “the truth?” It is “the word of God” which is “sharper than any twoedged sword” (Heb. 4:12; John 17:17). We are told that there shall “come a falling away first” and “there shall be false teachers among you” that “will not endure” the “sound doctrine” of the “pure” “preserve[d]” “words of the LORD” “and shall deceive many” (II Thess. 2:3; II Pet. 2:1; II Tim. 4:1-4; Psa. 12:6; Matt. 24:5,11). Someone might say, “Well, I don't believe that God would allow me to be deceived because I have good honest intentions. And as long as I have a sincere heart the Holy Spirit will confirm the truth to me by giving me a good feeling in my soul (that burning in the bosom, that confirmation in the heart).” If this is true, if truth can be determined by a feeling in our heart, then not only is every Bible version true, but every religions' sacred book is also true, including the Muslim Koran, the Hindu Veda and the book of Mormon. And if we are to be consistent we would also have to believe that, in God's eyes, every ceremony of the various religions of the world are acceptable forms of worship, which would include having infants baptized in the urine of the “holy cows” of Hinduism (fortunately, most professing Christians believe that God now commands all people to repent of this type of ignorance and idolatry (Acts 17:30; Luke 13:5); unfortunately, many professing Christians believe that mixing other forms of paganism with Christianity is acceptable in God's eyes).

In ancient times God allowed his people to go astray and worship in the idolatrous ways of the nations of the world (Deut. 4:19; 17:3; Judges 2:13; 10:6; I Sam. 7:3,4; 12:10; I Kings 11:5,33; II Kings 23:3-5,13; Jer. 7:18; 44:17,18). And the New Testament makes it clear that God will allow his people to go astray today. Ancient sun-worship was an idolatrous custom of the nations of the world from the earliest times of recorded history. Ancient celestial deities were worshiped under a variety of names, but they all shared identical or similar attributes. The Scriptures record numerous instances when God's people turned to pagan idolatry; “and they worshipped the sun” (Ezek. 8:16); “the queen of heaven” (Jer. 7 & 44); etc. When God delivered the children of Israel from bondage in Egypt, many of his people yearned for the idols of the pagan gods (Ezk. 20:1-16). The book of Acts says of God's own people, even after he delivered them from bondage in Egypt, “in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,...Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven;” (Acts 7:39-43). (Click on this link to see images comparing the striking similarities between the various ancient and modern idolatries: ANCIENT PAGAN IDOLATRY IN CHRISTIANITY)

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall....Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. (1 Corinthians 10:11,12,14)

The book of Mormon erroneously states that “if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.”(Moroni 10:4). The 2004 edition of the Mormon handbook falsely states, “In answer to our prayers, the Holy Ghost will teach us through our feelings and thoughts...Heavenly Father will answer their prayers, typically through feelings of their hearts and thoughts in their minds.”(Preach the Gospel, p.39). The erroneous claims of the Roman Catholic Vatican Councils would have us believe in the cult of Mary and the infallibility of popes. But the Holy Bible teaches us not to trust in our feelings and thoughts or in extra-biblical traditions and doctrines of men. The Bible warns us that “The heart is deceitful above all things” (Jer. 17:9), and “He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool” (Prov. 28:26), and “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Prov. 16:25). Jesus' disciples did not trust in their sincere hearts or their good intentions. Neither did they trust in a good feeling in their souls. Jesus' disciples “believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.” (John 2:22). For “three sabbath days” the apostle Paul “reasoned with them out of the scriptures” (Acts 17:2). “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:” (Isa. 1:18) (see also GOD & AMERICA — OUR TRUE FOUNDATIONS)

“He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.” (Luke 1:51). “the meek will he teach his way.” (Psa. 25:9). “but the proud he knoweth afar off.” (Psa. 138:6). “Hear ye, and give ear; be not proud: for the LORD hath spoken.... But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD'S flock is carried away captive.” (Jer. 13:15,17).

The Lord tells us in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. In the Old Testament only a select few were chosen to be high priests, and only the high priest had direct access to God. But when Christ died on the cross and the veil of the temple was torn, the “royal priesthood” passed to all who come to God through faith in Jesus Christ, and now all believers have direct and personal and equal access to God through the “one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (Matt. 27:51; Luke 23:44; Mark 15:37,38; I Pet. 2:9; Heb. 10:19,20; Rom. 1:5; 5:1,2; Eph. 3:12; I Tim. 2:5). The Old Testament priests were given the responsibility of preserving the scriptures which were written by the prophets (Deut. 31). As New Testament priests, all believers are now charged with safeguarding the scriptures which were written by the apostles (I Cor. 11:2; I Tim. 6:20; II Tim. 4:1-4; Rev. 1:3,6). And as “kings and priests unto God” every believer is instructed by God “to search out a matter” and “Prove all things” (Rev. 5:10; Prov. 25:2; I Thess. 5:21). Job said, “the cause which I knew not I searched out.” (Job 29:16). The Lord said, “because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me” (Hos. 4:6). The Bible says “through knowledge shall the just be delivered.” (Prov. 11:9).

“As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.” (Isaiah 59:21).

This web site has a compilation of articles written by various Authors, an assortment of helpful resources, links, and scriptures from the Holy Bible. “In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.” (Matt. 18:16; II Cor. 13:1). I believe that much of the information presented here will help the Christian reader to better understand some of the important issues facing us today. Some of the information in the following articles (i.e., the history of the Holy Bible, manuscript evidence, the overt and covert occult influence in the church) is un-known to many in the Christian community. It is this author's sincere prayer that the reader will have the courage to examine the evidence, the integrity to face the facts, and the honesty and humility to believe and accept the truth. I encourage you to search the scriptures daily and re-search the facts with the same commitment demonstrated by the believers of Berea mentioned in the book of Acts. And “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ”; “and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (I Pet 5:5,6,7; II Pet. 3:18; Psa. 147:3)

“Do ye not yet understand...?” (Matt. 16:9). “Why do ye not understand my speech?” (John 8:43). “have ye your heart yet hardened?” (Mark 8:17). “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” (Numb. 23:19). “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jer. 32:27). “Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?” (Prov. 22:20,21). “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou [God] shalt preserve them [the words of the Lord] from this generation for ever.” (Psa. 12:6,7). “It is written.... It is written.... it is written” (Matt. 4:4,7,10). “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” (Matt. 5:18). “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matt. 24:35).
“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” (Prov. 30:5,6). “It is written”, “It is written again”, “it is written in the book” (Luke 4:4; Acts 1:20; 7:42). “The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.” (Eccl. 12:10). “But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?” (John 5:47). “they believed not his word:” (Psa. 106:24). “O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:” (Luke 24:25). “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (II Tim. 3:16). “no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (II Peter 1:20,21). “And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” (I Peter 1:25). “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth,” (James 1:18). “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” (Eph. 1:13). “For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:” (Col. 1:5,6). “Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life:” (Deut. 4:9). “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.” (Luke 21:34). “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.” (Heb. 2:1).

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. (Acts 17:11)
