Occultism

Within the occult world, the entire study of demonology is wrapped around the geometric shapes that serve as focal points for demons (such as made by crystals and pyramids), and the portals by which demons can enter the human body. A demon doesn’t have to be materialized (conjured up) to enter into a body. Geometric shapes which are believed to attract demons are placed into the internal worlds of slaves. The will of the person also plays a role in the introduction of demons into the body. Torture attaches and layers in demons within the body. Sex and blood sacrifices are used to attach powerful demons. According to high level demonology, certain powerful spirits can only be manipulated if there are blood sacrifices. This may seem strange, however, the record (evidence) bears out that generational victims of possession who have had demons placed in via blood sacrifices are definitely controlled by more powerful demonic forces. Kabbalah

Tree of Life derived from the Flower of Life.
  • Kabalistic views on "Spirits" From The Religio-Philosophical Journal, Jan. 26th, 1878
  • A Tree of Life (The Yetziric text): World, Colour, Divine Aspect and Tarot Card associated with the Tree of Life and Kabbalistic aspect
  • Central to modern Kabbalistic study is the diagram Otz Chiim, the Tree of Life. This is a representation of the thirty-two "paths" comprised of the ten sefirot and the twenty-two paths through which they interrelate Though the tree may be drawn with variations in the location of paths - particularly in pure, Judaic Kabbalah - esoteric tradition is consistent in presenting the tree as above, with the paths in the positions shown.
  • It is important to realize that the pure nature of divinity is unity, and that the seemingly separate aspects or emanations exist only in view of the emanated, living in a state of illusory separation. This is expressed in the Zohar: "in creating this world below, the world above lost nothing. It is the same for each sefira: if one is illuminated, the next loses none of its brilliance". The absolute divine light can be said to be refracted through the prism of the sefirot into the apparently multifarious world of creation.
  • Kabbalah is our collection of resources concerning the venerable mystical system of the Kabbalah. The Kabbalah has its roots in esoteric Judaism (and there is still a purely Judaic strand), but its body of knowledge has been developed over the centuries by people of many faiths and beliefs. Its universal applicability gives the Kabbalah its continued power and presence today.

    • Adherents of the Mysteries have long held the idea that the Tarot has its origins in the arcane system of the Kabbalah, though there is no firm historical evidence for this. The work of the 19th century French occultist, Eliphas Levi, was the catalyst for the study of the esoteric link between the Tarot and the Kabbalah, which became the main model for the development and interpretation of the Tarot. The most influential decks of the 20th century were founded on Kabbalistic principles, in terms of their structure, their symbology and their explication.

    • ...thus sums up the importance of Qabbalism as a key to Masonic esotericism: "One is filled with admiration, on penetrating into the Sanctuary of the Kabalah, at seeing a doctrine so logical, so simple, and at the same time so absolute. The necessary union of ideas and signs, the consecration of the most fundamental realities by the primitive characters; the Trinity of Words, Letters, and Numbers; a philosophy simple as the alphabet, profound and infinite as the Word; theorems more complete and luminous than those of Pythagoras; a theology summed up by counting on one's fingers; an Infinite which can be held in the hollow of an infant's hand; ten ciphers and twenty-two letters, a triangle, a square, and a circle,--these are all the elements of the Kabalah. These are the elementary principles of the written Word, reflection of that spoken Word that created the world!" (Morals and Dogma) Albert Pike quoting from Transcendental Magic by Eliphas Levi
    • Albert Pike stated: All true dogmatic religions come from the Kabbala and lead back to it; all that is scientific and great in the religious dream of all the illuminated such as Bachme, Swedenborg, St. Martin, and others similar, is borrowed from the Kabbalah. All the Masonic associations owe their secrets and symbols to it. The Kabalah alone consecrates the alliance of the Universal Reason and the Divine Word; it establishes, by the counterpoises of two forces apparently opposite, the eternal balance of being; it alone reconciles Reason with Faith, Power with Liberty, Science with Mystery; it has the keys of the Present, the Past, and the Future. Morals and Dogma p744-745
  • Magic Squares in Kabbalah
    • I've been reading Aryeh Kaplan's Meditation and the Kabbalah, He has a chapter on the Kabbalistic writings of Rabbi Joseph Tzayach (1505-1573) the Rabbi of Damascus. Kaplan says that magic squares were well known in ancient India and China and that they were introduced into the west in the 1400s by Moschopulus of Constatinople. Kaplan believes they were also known to the ancient Kabbalists. Tzayach probably received a hidden tradition concerning these figures. His system attributes the traditional magic squares to the seven planets but goes on to attribute higher order magic squares to the Sephira on the Tree of Life, a Jewish mystical diagram: The square of ten to Kether, of 11 to Chokmah, etc. skipping the square of 15, so that Malkuth is the 20x20 matrix. Tzayach apparently had a system that involved meditating on the color, number, and letter forms in one room after another in a square. Each row was called a house and each box a room. What we might be seeing here is a form of Merkabah Ascension. Up through the spheres of the 7 planets and then through 10 (usually 7 in other literature) palaces of the King to the throne of God. The position of meditation described is that of Elijah on Mt. Carmel, sitting cross legged with head between the knees, a position associated with Merkabah Ascension. Magic square lore may have passed back and forth between Jewish and Muslim mystics. [7]

Merkaba

Merkabah - which is formed by two intersecting Tetrahedra (to research: should the Tetrahedra be spinning in opposite directions?)
  • To research: "Mer" (light), "Ka" (spirit), "Ba" (body) [8]
    • In the Bible there is reference to Ezekiel and the wheels by which Ezekiel ascended into heaven. This was the Mer-ka-Ba. In the Torah, there is reference to the Merkavah (as it is spelled in Hebrew) which has two different meanings: One meaning is chariot, which is a vehicle; the other is the Throne of God. When the two definitions are combined, the true meaning comes to life. In Ancient Egypt, this primal pattern was called the Mer-Ka-Ba. It was actually three words, not one. Mer meant a kind of light that rotated within itself. Ka meant spirit, in this case referring to the human spirit. And Ba meant the human body — though it also could mean the concept of Reality that spirit holds. And so the entire word in ancient Egypt referred to a rotating light that would take the spirit and the body from one world into another." (...) "What actually is the Mer-Ka-Ba? Technically, it is an electro-magnetic field sitting at about four degrees Kelvin, found primarily within the microwave range — at least in the third dimension — that is entirely geometric in nature. Specifically, the geometry used is called Sacred Geometry, as this particular geometry is found in the creation patterns of all things in Creation. The Mer-Ka-Ba field is extremely complex, involving the five Platonic solids and other sacred polyhedrons. It is believed to extend through all possible dimensional and parallel universes, and can possibly change its nature from electro-magnetic to whatever is appropriate. The blueprint of the Mer-Ka-Ba is found throughout nature" [9]
  • "The Hebrew word "Merkabah" (מרכבה "chariot", derived from the consonantal root r-k-b with general meaning "to ride") is used in Ezekiel (1:4-26) to refer to the throne-chariot of God, the four-wheeled vehicle driven by four "chayot" (Hebrew: "living creatures"), each of which has four wings and the four faces of a man, lion, ox, and eagle." [10]
  • To research: "Kaaba" - "1734 (Caaba), cube-shaped building in the Great Mosque of Mecca, containing the Black Stone, from Arabic ka'bah "square house," from ka'b "cube"." [11]

Trapezoid

  • The trapezoid has long been regarded in by occultists as the most satanic of shapes, especially adapted to enhance demonic manifestation. Indeed, the middle order of the Satanic brotherhood is called 'The Order of the Trapezoid'. Anton LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan, refers to an occult principle known as the 'Law of the Trapezoid' (The Satanic Rituals #7 (Die elektrischen Vorspiele)). His writings underscore the existence of a magical science of geometric angles and spaces which is very prevalent in the United Nations Meditation Room ... LaVey says architecture can enhave an evil, spiritual atmosphere.
  • Former Satanist, Bill Schnoebelen, says this type of coffin is built to draw in and preserve evil, dark energy. While in Satanism, Bill had to build one of these trapezoidal coffins. The idea was to attract enough vampiric dark demonic energy, to draw sufficient quanties of energy, and to store that evil energy so that, at a right moment, the dead man can come out of the coffin, a demonic resurrection! Schnoebelen stated that, while in the coven, he and fellow members used to speculate as to whether the Roman Catholic Church was practicing Vampirism, for they saw much of that system within Catholicism. The fact that Pope John Paul II was buried in a trapezoidal box just reinforces Bill's suspicions.[12]
  • The bottom line of all this is that the consummate architectural form of the Satan-worshipper is the trapezoid; and he believes that this shape will create a spiritual 'cloud-chamber' of sorts across which he may track the hoofprints of the demons he wishes to invoke. It is believed to be the perfect atmosphere for the manifestation of the unholy and the cursed." [Dr. Cathy Burns, "Billy Graham And His Friends", p. 13-1; quoting former Satanist, Bill Schnoebelen, "White Sepulchers: The Hidden Language of the Mormon Temple", p. 46]

    • You might be surprised how much power you can generate by simply meditating on the chi that flows in and around you, and knowing that you are a reflection of the universe. Some people need more, and for them, the Bornless Ritual might do wonders. Whatever it takes to feel that indeed, you are authorized, start chanting the entity's name while staring at the sigil, and after a while of chanting, switch your attention to the black mirror (or just the triangle) and recite a conjuration. This can be something quite simple. Then act as if the entity has manifested, simply know that it is there. Keep the intent of the working in mind. From here, you can welcome the entity, tell it who you are and for what reason it has been evoked, and when the working is done, remember to license it to depart. After a few dozen workings you will start seeing and hearing the entities in your mind, and with even more experience maybe even visibly. It is at this point that evocation can turn conversational. If you need to talk with an entity but haven't trained the necessary faculties, after making a question simply quiet your thoughts and try to be aware of that alien thought stream coming from an unexpected corner of your mind. It might be that the spirit uses your own internal dialogue. Whichever way it happens, you should write it all down and not simply dismiss it as your own thoughts." [13]

As above, so below

  • How the Divine (Above) star mapping is represented on earth (below)
    • Herschel's idea that the whole pyramid field in Lower Egypt represents stars was inspired by one of the oldest known prophecies. The mystic Hermes Trismegistus. claimed: "Egypt is an image of the heavens… the 'whole' cosmos dwells here." Herschel subsequently conducted an experiment to prove all the pyramids in Lower Egypt represent stars. He overlaid a transparency of the stars onto a map of the pyramids. The result was breathtaking. All the brightest stars within the known constellations in one complete revolution of the Milky Way had pyramid counterparts on the ground. However, there were some important stars for which pyramids were apparently missing. In Giza for example, Herschel found four potential, as yet unrecognised pyramid ruins on an antique early map that would conclude a previously incomplete Orion interpretation at Giza. [15]

Magic square

  • The most common use for these Kameas is to provide a pattern upon which to construct the sigils of spirits, angels or demons; the letters of the entity's name are converted into numbers, and lines are traced through the pattern that these successive numbers make on the kamea.
  • In a magical context, the term magic square is also applied to a variety of word squares or number squares found in magical grimoires, including some that do not follow any obvious pattern, and even those with differing numbers of rows and columns. They are generally intended for use as talismans. For instance the following squares are: The Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas, one of the most famous magic squares found in a number of grimoires including the Key of Solomon; a square "to overcome envy", from The Book of Power, and two squares from The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, the first to cause the illusion of a superb palace to appear, and the second to be worn on the head of a child during an angelic invocation(wikipedia)

Sigil

Sigils and circle of art from the Goetia [5]

Sigil is a symbol created for a specific magical purpose. A sigil is usually made up of a complex combination of several specific symbols or geometric figures each with a specific meaning or intent. The term sigil derives from the Latin sigillum meaning "seal," though it may also be related to the Hebrew סגולה (segulah meaning "word, action or item of spiritual effect"). A sigil may have an abstract, pictorial or semi-abstract form. In medieval ceremonial magic, the term sigil was commonly used to refer to occult signs which represented various angels and demons which the magician might summon. The magical training books called the Grimoires often listed pages of such sigils. A particularly well-known list is in the Lesser Key of Solomon, in which the sigils of the 72 princes of the hierarchy of hell (see: Shemhamphorasch) are given for the magician's use. Such sigils were considered to be the equivalent of the true name of the spirit, and thus granted the magician a measure of control over the beings. Sigils are commonly found in Jewish mysticism and Kabbalistic magic (being an especial focus of Sefer Raziel HaMalakh and other medieval Jewish mystical sources) upon which much of Western magic is based.

Sigil Creation

This is an example of the theory of magic propounded by Marsilio Ficino. Ficino's magic is a kind of sympathetic magic where objects, colors, sounds, etc. are all categorized as to what "influences" they excite. Ficino's influences come primarily from the planets, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The magic is aimed at "drawing down" the influence or power of specific planets in order to accomplish some end, such as protection from disease or a psychological cure. In this magic we see the role of the squares as being the mathematical archetypes of the planets themselves. As each square has a set of characteristic numbers, these numbers then also carry the influences of the various planets. In this way certain numbers can be said to be "Solar" or "Lunar" numbers.

In this system, for our study, the important issue to understand is how the particular planets come to be associated with particular squares. More than one source has it that the correspondences between the squares and the planets were the invention of Agrippa himself. The description of Agrippa and his book by Francis Yates makes it appear that Agrippa made no original contributions to magical theory in his book, but merely collected the thought of others. Other sources simply say that the Arabs assigned the squares to the planets. David Fidler in his book "Jesus Christ, Sun of God" says that the arrangements came from the Babylonians. The ancient system of cosmology had 7 planets, each in a concentric shell that rotated around the earth. The Babylonians believed that the closest planet was the moon, followed by Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. They placed the order of the squares such that the smallest squares were associated with the farthest planets, thus Saturn is 3, Jupiter is 4, etc. This relationship is important for several reasons, but the one reason that is most striking is the fact that the system assigns the square of 6 to the sun. By making this assignment, the system is made to resonate with one of the most ancient of numerological systems, namely that of the Sumerians. It was the Sumerians with their Solar worship and their sexigesimal counting system that firmly fixed the hours of the day at 24, sun nominally rising at 6:00AM and setting at 6:00PM, and who gave us the still used 360 degree circle. The association of the number 6 with the sun is a very ancient western tradition. Pythagoras on account of numerical theory called 6 the first "perfect" number. In view of these facts, the magic square of 6 with a sum total of 666 must have made quite an impression even in the 14th century, the earliest date that modern conventional scholarship will allow a western knowledge of magic squares.

Rose-cross

To create a sigil place a piece of paper over the rose-cross template below. Then connect each letter of the word from one box to the next. The sigil starts with a circle and ends with a line. See below where I created a sigil of "Malkuth." If a letter does not exist on the template, then use the sound of the letter instead, or if that is not possible then omit the letter completely from the sigil.

Satanism

  • Various notes:
    • Serial killer David Berkowitz, known as Son of Sam, wrote of the Satanic group, which orchestrated the killings, in a letter to a minister. He said:
      • "...this group contained a mixture of Satanic practices, including the teachings of Aleister Crowley and Eliphas Levi. It was blood oriented...The coven's doctrines are a blend of Druidism, teachings of the secret order of the Golden Dawn, black magic, and a host of other unlawful and obnoxious practices"
      • "Satanists are peculiar people. They aren't ignorant peasants or semi-literate natives. Rather, their ranks are filled with doctors, lawyers, businessmen, and basically highly responsible citizens...They are not a careless group who are apt to make mistakes. But they are secretive and bonded together by a common need and desire to mete out havoc on society. It was Aleister Crowley who said: "I want blasphemy, murder, rape, revolution, anything bad."
