IS HELL REAL ?

Hell or Death?

Judgment or Interment?

"God is love." 1 John 4:8
"God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:29
"Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God." Romans 11:22

These two attributes of God are shown most clearly at the cross. God's justice required judgement for our sins. "Cursed is everyone that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." (Galatians 3:10) Yet God's love moved him to take that punishment due each of us. "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree." (Galatians 3:13)

A place of "everlasting fire" exists and was spoken of by Jesus. He lovingly forewarned of his final words to those who reject his free gift of salvation and remain under the curse.

"Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." Matthew 25:41

As seen in the above scriptures, hell was not created for man, but "...hell hath enlarged herself" (Isaiah 5:14) to accommodate those of mankind who reject the love of God. The existence of hell does not diminish the love or loveliness of God. It speaks only of the rabid [fanatical] villainy [evildoing] of creatures--Satan, his angels, and mankind, who as Matthew records, could "spit in his face" (Matthew 26:67), the face of their creator. Often the unwillingness of man to face his own culpability [guilt] and sinfulness prompts him to saddle God with the burden of blame for the existence of hell. Truthfully, hell pronounces the malfeasance [wrongdoing] of the creatures, not of the creator. The doctrine of hell is an affront [insult] to proud mankind.

Hell's presentation in the bible can hardly be extinguished, but recent [bible] versions have diluted it by submerging the reader in a welter of words, substituting 'death', 'grave', 'sheol', 'hades' and 'the depths' for the word, 'hell'. Using five additional ambiguous words fractures the impact. The shatterment flies in the face of clarity, obscuring God's warning. Descending progressively downward from "death," to the "grave," then to "sheol" or "hades," then "the depths," and finally to "hell," the NIV offers a station, waiting to prove the afterlife theory of every philosophy and cult afloat.

Excerpt from New Age Bible Versions

Life or Death? Heaven or Hell?

“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of....” “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us–ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (II Pet. 3:3,4,5,9). “For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.” (Ezek. 18:32)

It is no more God's will that we perish in hell than it is his will that we commit rape, robbery, murder or any other evil. Man was created with a free will to choose between right and wrong, good and evil, life and death. We are responsible for the choices we make and for the actions we take. God will often try to communicate with us through His word, the Holy Bible, but if we are caught up in the “cares of this life” and our own devices, doing things our way, we will usually ignore his voice (Luke 8:14; 21:34). “Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.” (Deut. 8:5). King David said, “Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.... It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.” (Psa. 119:67,71). But, just as some children don't like to hear their parents warn them of impending consequences when they are doing something wrong, some people don't like to hear preachers warn them about the fire of hell when they are doing something wrong. Someone said, “Oh, I just don't believe that God would send people to hell to burn forever in a lake of fire.” This poor lost soul does not understand that it is not God who condemns man to hell. It is man himself who is responsible for choosing salvation or condemnation: “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.... And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:17,19). Moreover, for God to allow all of the suffering that has occurred from the time man first sinned til now – pain and sorrow unimaginable by some, the horrific results of famines and plagues, innumerable numbers of people murdered, millions more brutally tortured and maimed – and to believe that the true scriptural literal hell does not exist is really an ignorant position to take. “But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.” the apostle Paul said (I Cor. 14:38).

Ignorance is defined as:

“[w]ant, absence or destitution of knowledge; the negative state of the mind which... has not been informed of facts. Ignorance may be general, or it may be limited to particular subjects. Ignorance of the law does not excuse a man for violating it.” (American Dictionary of the English Language, Noah Webster, 1828-1911)

We can choose to be ignorant; or we can choose to be informed. We can choose to let the word of God teach us what is good and what is evil; or we can choose to “be as gods” deciding for ourselves what is good and what is evil, “every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes”, just as our first parents, Adam and Eve, did (Gen. 3:5; Deut. 12:8). Lucifer boasted in his pride, “I will be like the most High” (Isa. 14:14). When Lucifer, “that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world” first enticed man, the temptation was not for man to be evil but to be good, to “be like the most High”, to “be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Gen. 3:3:5; Rev. 12:9). In the fourteenth chapter of Isaiah, Lucifer is in heaven; in verse fifteen Satan is in hell. The intervening verses expose his pride in the five “I wills,” each a rung in his descent into hell:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” (Isa. 14:12-15).

Notice the similarities between Lucifer's boasting in the book of Isaiah and proud man's self-righteous prayer in the book of Luke: “The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.” (Luke 18:11,12). Note that the letter “I” occurs the same number of times in both the Pharisee's prayer and in Lucifer's boast. How many times have you heard proud man saying some of the same things that the self-righteous Pharisee said? How many times have you heard proud man saying, “I fast”, or “I give tithes”, or “I am not as other men are”? How many times have you heard proud man saying, “I will do whatever I choose to do”, or “I deserve better”, or “I don't deserve punishment”? Proud fallen man has chosen to follow the proud fallen “god of this world” who “hath blinded the minds of them which believe not” (II Cor. 4:4). How many times have you heard proud man saying, “I will believe whatever I choose to believe”? But just because we choose to believe that something is true does not mean that it is true. And just because we choose to believe that something is false does not mean that it is false. A false perception of reality does not change the truth. “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” (Rev. 22:11). You and I are ultimately responsible for whatever choices we make in this life: and “every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” (Rom. 14:12). We can try to play the blame game, but it won't stick. Ever since the fall of man people have been playing the blame game. Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the serpent. The serpent blamed God.

“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” (James 1:13-15).
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” (Gal. 5:16,17). “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” (Matt. 6:24).

Some people have stated that they believe in a "god" or a "higher power" and an "afterlife", but that they do not believe in a devil or the biblical hell. By their own philosophy and logic these people have unwittingly admitting that they believe in a fantasy. For they fail to see, that according to their own philosophy, that is, the philosophy of humanism and moral relativism, that it is just as ridiculous to believe in a god and an afterlife as it is to believe in a devil and a hell, places and things intangible and unprovable by their own admission. But not believing the truth is just as destructive as believing a lie. Just because someone claims to "believe in God" means nothing as far as the salvation of their soul is concerned.

“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” (James 2:19).

Everything that we need to know for the salvation of our souls in contained in the scriptures. “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” (Deut. 29:29). Someone might say, “I just don't understand this.” or “I just don't understand that.” The things that we do understand, “those things which are revealed” unto us by God in the scriptures, are far more important than the things that we don't understand. “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” (I Cor. 14:33). The apostle James said that “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:8). Confusion and a lack of understanding the scriptures is a result of man's proud unregenerated unconverted heart. “For from within,” said Jesus, “out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,.. pride,.. All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” (Mark 7:21-23). Man's heart and soul must be “born again” (John 3:1-7). God has made known to us everything that is required for salvation: “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:” (II Tim. 1:9,10). “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;” (Titus 2:11,12). “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” (I Pet. 1:23-25). God has revealed to us through the scriptures everything that we need to know to be saved: “and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:” (Rom. 16:26). And this is why Satan fights so hard to keep people away from the scriptures. This is why the devil tries so hard to discredit the pure words of the Lord contained in the Holy Bible.

“We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.” (Jer. 3:25). “Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.” (Lam. 3:39,40).

The Lord tells us in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. The Bible tells us that there were conspiracies among God's people to compromise his laws and corrupt his word by intermingling with the pagan customs of the nations of the world. There are numerous references to conspiracies and conspirators in the Bible. Some people believe that such conspiracies only occurred in bible times and therefore we need not be concerned about such things in this modern day and age. But the Bible teaches us that “whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning”, and “all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition” (Rom. 15:4; I Cor. 10:11). The Bible warns us that in the last days there will be “strong delusion” and people will be caught up in the “cares of this life” which will cause a “falling away” from true biblical Christianity and many will be deceived by “seducing spirits” and “doctrines of devils” (II Thess. 2:3,11; I Tim. 4:1; Luke 8:14; 21:34). To doubt the reality of hell is one such “delusion”. Lucifer boasted in his pride saying, “I will be like the most High.” (Isa. 14:14). Through the various occult organizations of the world Lucifer has launched an all out campaign to change his worldwide image from that of his truly evil nature as Satan to that of the most high God himself. The 1904 annual report of the Theosophical Society stated: “I believe it is through the Churches and not through the Theosophical Society that Theosophy [that is the worship of Lucifer]... must and should come to large bodies of people in the West.” (Transactions of the Theosophical Society, 1904, H. P. Blavatsky, Annie Besant). Fenton Hort, a nineteenth century occult mystic who worked on the corrupt bible revision committee of 1881, wrote, “At present very many orthodox but rational men are being unawares acted upon by influences which will assuredly bear good fruit in due time, if the process is allowed to go on quietly“ (Life and letters of Fenton John Anthony Hort, Vol. 1, 1896, p. 400).

If you have heard of the Illuminati Order and you thought it was some kind of mythological conspiracy theory, here are the archives from George Washington himself, which prove not only their existence, but that they were intensively active in the United States of America. George Washington was also certain that some of the illuminati had infiltrated some of the American Lodges of Freemasonry.

“TO G. W. SNYDER.
Mount Vernon, 24 October, 1798.
REVEREND SIR,
I have your favor of the 17th instant before me, and my only motive for troubling you with the receipt of this letter is, to explain and correct a mistake, which I perceive the hurry in which I am obliged often to write letters has led you into.
It was not my intention to doubt, that the doctrines of the Illuminati and the principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States, On the contrary, no one is more fully satisfied of this fact than I am.
The idea that I meant to convey was, that I did not believe that the lodges of freemasons in this country had, as societies, endeavoured to propagate the diabolical tenets of the former, or pernicious principles of the latter, if they are susceptible of separation. That individuals of them may have done it, or that the founder, or instrument employed to found the Democratic Societies in the United States, may have had these objects, and actually had a separation of the people from their government in view, is too evident to be questioned.” ([The Writings Of George Washington, Vol. XI., 1855, p. 337])

It is an undeniable fact that conspiracies exist. It is also un under appreciated fact that most people have been conditioned to pay little or no attention to conspiracies. Misinformation is often circulated in the media and elsewhere for the purpose of leading people away from the truth. This was in the past and still is today one of the main functions of the Catholic Jesuit organization. It is no coincident that high level Jesuits are also high ranking Freemasons. The following information reveals some of the methods employed to deceive. “Morals and Dogma” is an official Masonic book written by occultist Albert Pike. Pages 104 and 105 of this Satanic occult book states:

Masonry, like all the religions, all Mysteries, Hermetiscism, and Alchemy, conceals its secrets from all except the Adepts and Sages, or the Elect, and uses false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to mislead those who deserve to be mislead;” “So Masonry jealously conceals its secrets, and intentionally leads conceited interpreters astray. (Morals and Dogma, pp. 104, 105) '

Only the “illuminated ones” at the highest levels of Freemasonry and other secretive societies are privy to the Luciferian agenda of the New World Order. Some of the people involved in the release of information regarding Luciferian doctrine, the New World Order and New Age Religion conspiracies are actually the conspirators themselves. These subtly wicked people often manipulate the media allowing only a certain amount of factual information to be released along with a fair amount of misinformation in order to make anyone willing to take such conspiracies seriously look foolish or just plain paranoid. They have successfully conditioned the public at large to view conspiracy researchers as simple-minded crackpots. However, the Bible speaks about numerous conspiracies. There are dozens of references to conspiracies and conspirators in the scriptures. There are many warnings in the Bible about the many deceivers and the strong delusion that will take place in the latter days prior to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory and the end of the world. We would be wise to take heed to God's warnings!

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.... Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” (Eph. 6:11-17). “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (II Cor. 2:11).

Satan's methods to deceive man are unchanged from Genesis 3:1, “Yea, hath God said...?”, to Revelation 13:8, when “all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him”. The subtle and not so subtle changes in new bible versions are no coincident. Modern bible versions will often cross reference Isaiah 14:12 with II Peter 1:19 & Revelation 22:16 giving the reader the false impression that Jesus Christ and Lucifer are one in the same. Corrupt bible versions and study aids “in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth” are at the forefront of the “falling away” of the churches from the “plain” “pure words” of the Holy Bible, and the “strong delusion” and deception that Jesus Christ and the apostles warned us would come (I Cor. 2:13; Psa. 12:6,7; Prov. 8:8,9; II Thess. 2:3-11; II Tim. 4:). To cast doubt on the pure preserved words of the Lord (the KJV), our adversary the devil is using occult literature, and the various new age bible versions (based in whole or in part on the corrupt Alexandrian Eusebio-Origen text types), and interleniers and lexicons who's texts agree with Luciferian doctrine (Psa. 12:6,7; Prov. 30:5). Incidently, like many corrupt new bible versions, the NKJV has omitted the word “hell” in no less than ten verses in the New Testament alone (see Matt. 11:23; 16:18; Luke 10:15; 16:23; Acts 2:27,31; Rev. 1:18; 6:8; 20:13,14).

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (II Timothy 3:1-7).

Many people believe in the philosophy of moral relativism, the idea that everything is ‘relative’ and nothing is ‘absolute’. This concept is not new. In fact, this philosophy is thousands of years old, and can be traced as far back as the book of Genesis, where the serpent uttered these infamous words: “then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”(Gen. 3:5). Adam and Eve were the first humans to embrace the philosophy of moral relativism as they chose to “be as gods” and decide for themselves what is “good” and what is “evil”, thereby opening the door of sin to the human race: “as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”(Rom. 5:12): “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.”(Eccl. 7:20):. Some people believe that man is changing or “evolving”, and that there is no absolute standard of right and wrong, and that our laws and our ordinances must also change to accommodate each individual's concept of right and wrong. Adam and Eve changed and the consequences were disastrous: “The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.”(Isa. 24:5). When man broke God's commandment and sin entered into the world, they “became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened”(Rom. 1:21). Sin causes the heart of man to become darkened and hardened, his “understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart”(Eph. 4:18). A man may choose to change his view of good and evil as often as he will. But, truth does not change: and God's “word is truth” (John 17:17). And the true God, the righteous judge, does not change: “I am the LORD, I change not;” “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Mal. 3:6; Heb. 13:8). Man is given a free will by his creator to be able to choose which path to follow. People change by choice, for better or for worse.

“He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity:”(Prov. 22:8). “they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.”(Job 4:8): “for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”(Gal. 6:7).

Someone might say, “But that doesn't sound ‘fair’ to me.” Well, just what exactly is fair? After all, most people determine what is and what is not fair based on their own personal standards of morality. However, moral relativism is a philosophy that is based on faulty foundations. For if morals are truly relative, then the slaughter of millions of people in Nazi Germany during WW2 and the murder of thousands of citizens on September eleventh 2001 when the twin towers of the World Trade centers in New York city were destroyed would have to be accepted as acts of "good". Adolf Hitler believed that what he was doing was “right”. Today's terrorists believe that what they are doing is “good”. But, thank God, most people still understand that these are not acts of good, but acts of evil. Sadly, many of the same people who condemn genocide and terrorist attacks choose to believe that so called “lesser” sins, such as adultery, fornication, abortion, stealing, profanity and lying, are not really evil. Moses warned the children of Israel saying, “Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.”(Deut. 12:8). God warned us that “the customs of the people are vain”(Jer. 10:3), and not to be confused with his ordinances: “Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs...[morals]”(Lev. 18:30). “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”(Prov. 14:12). King David said, “Thy word”, meaning Gods word, the Holy Scriptures, “have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”(Psa. 119:11). If, however, we repeatedly allow temptation to be conceived in our heart, our conscience will become seared, and we will no longer feel conviction of sin. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”(I Cor. 10:13). God will make a way for us to escape temptation, but it is up to us to choose whether or not to escape: for the decision is ours and ours alone whether to choose good or whether to choose evil. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”(Rom. 6:23).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” (John 3:16-21)

The first message that Jesus Christ preached was, “Repent ye, and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:15). To “Repent” simply means to confess your sins with sincere remorse and forsake them (Prov. 28:13). To “believe the gospel” simply means to believe God's word, the Holy Bible. Jesus said, “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”[and “all have sinned”] (Luke 5:32; Rom. 3:23). “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins” (Acts 26:18). “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” (Prov. 28:13). “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19).

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. ” (Rom. 1:18-32).

Since the fall of man in Genesis chapter three when the serpent first tempted man to “be as gods”, man has chosen to decide for himself what is “good” and what is “evil” “and their foolish heart was darkened.... For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:” (Rom. 1:21,26). The New Century Dictionary of the English Language defines Lesbianism as “Un-natural sexual relations between women.” (The New Century Dictionary, page 943, Appleton-Century-Crofts, Inc. New York, 1952). “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman” (Rom. 1:27). But “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil” (Isa. 5:20). Fallen man has exercised his free will and has chosen evil over good, “for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth” (Gen. 8:21). “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes” (Prov. 21:2); but “The heart is deceitful above all things” (Jer. 17:9), and “He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool” (Prov. 28:26). “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Prov. 16:25). Man has received ample warning from his creator and is without excuse: “Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.” (Deut. 12:8). “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (II Thess. 2:11,12). Lucifer said, “I will be like the most High”, and fallen man has followed suit to “be as gods” (Isa. 14:14; Gen. 3:5). And the religious people of the world, from Hindus to Muslims, from Buddhists to apostate Christians, all will worship Satan (Lucifer) believing that they are worshipping the true God. “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him”, “the great dragon”, “that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world”; all but the remnant of faithful Bible believing Christians who refuse to receive his “mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads” (Rev. 12:9; 13:8,16); “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”; the remnant of faithful Bible believers who refuse to “add unto” or “take away from” or “change” any word of the “pure” “preserve[d]” “words of the LORD” in our beloved English Authorized KJV Holy Bible (Eph. 1:1; Deut. 4:2; Psa. 12:6,7; Prov. 24:21; 30:6; Rev. 14:12; 22:18,19): “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Rev. 12:11)

The choice is simple: “everlasting life” ? (John 3:16) or “everlasting punishment” ? (Matt. 25:46): “therefore choose life” (Deut. 30:19).

"Hell" Is The Correct Translation!

The word “hell” as translated in the KJV Bible is the absolute correct rendering of the Hebrew and Greek in both philological meaning and etymological history. The Hebrew word, helel (Helel Ben Shachar or Heylel Ben-Shachar (הילל בן שחר) ), which is translated Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12, wandered into English through Greek and German. In the Greek we have Helios, the sun god. In German, this became hellen, from which came the word helder, meaning, "clear" or "shiny." But there is also a sense of "blinding," that is, blinded by the light, in this; and thus helel entered English as "hell," a covered place, a place of darkness as if blinded, a place "far off from God." So, the source of our word hell is from the original Hebrew and Greek scriptures. The early Christian church clearly understood the meaning of the words “sheol”, “hades”, “gehenna”, — hell. But many modern-day "Christians" don't seem to share the same understanding and conviction. Jesus said, “And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.” (Mark 4:15) New Age occult 'bible' translations have omitted the word "hell" from their texts. Most bible versions (excluding the KJV) substitute secular words often used in mythology, such as 'death', 'grave' and 'the depths', for the biblical word, 'hell' . Some bible versions leave the Hebrew Sheol and the Greek hades and gehenna untranslated, leaving each reader to decide for themselves: "the common abode of departed spirits"?; "purgatory"?; "the grave"?; — whatever suits your fancy. Such “cunningly devised fables” abound in world literature and in today's brave new world of apostate Christianity (II Tim. 4:; II Pet. 1:16).

What is Theosophy

What is Theosophy? Who Promulgated It? And To What Does It Lead?

In reply to the first question, we showed, from the writings of Theosophists themselves, that it is “Wisdom Religion,” handed down from a succession of initiates and adepts all over the world, now for the first time promulgated so as to become a subject of common inquiry and discussion. It presents a belief in a supreme, inscrutable, all-pervading, and absolute Deity, from which all nature, visible and invisible, proceeds, and unto which it will return; and a belief in man as an imperishable entity of Divine origin, and of infinite potentiality as a progressive manifestation of the Divine nature. In fact, everything is God. Theosophy includes also a belief in certain psychical powers in men, connected with celibacy and vegetarianism, and in initiations into certain mysteries. In every age these mysteries have existed, with a priestly class at their head, from Babel downwards. Satan is the real head. Under this system Christianity is abominable; the truth is to be found with Zoroaster, Buddha, and in the worship of Egypt. The system was practically promulgated in England by Madame Blavatsky—said to have received the teaching from initiates in Thibet -a woman of eccentric habits, and connected with impostures detected by the Psychical Investigation Society. The English Theosophists avow unquestioning submission to her teaching as authoritative and decisive, and declare that her personal character is a matter of indifference to them. Theosophy comes into direct collision with the teaching of the Bible. God ordains marriage, animal food, and atonement; Theosophy, celibacy, vegetarianism, and human merit. The Scriptures teach that there are none righteous, that Christ is the one true light; Theosophy, that all are good, that Mahomet and others are sources of light. God teaches that Satan is the prince of darkness; Theosophy deifies Lucifer, or Satan, as the great source of light. (from a 19th century edition of The Christian World)

Luciferian Doctrines and The Christian Churches

Occultists Helena P. Blavatsky and Henry S. Olcott founded the Theosophical Society in 1875. Their number one goal, as stated in The Secret Doctrine (a book written by Blavatsky), is “To form the nucleus of a Universal Brotherhood of Man without distinction of race, colour, sex, or creed.” (The Secret Doctrine, 1888, Index, p. 32)

The founder of Lucifer Magazine Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (H.P.B.) (1831-1891), and editor Annie Besant (1847-1933), along with other occultists believed that Christian churches were the key to introducing the doctrines of Lucifer to large masses of people. The 1904 annual report of the Theosophical Society stated: “I believe it is through the Churches and not through the Theosophical Society that Theosophy [the worship of Lucifer]... must and should come to large bodies of people in the West.” (Transactions of the Theosophical Society, H. P. Blavatsky, Annie Besant, 1904, p. 377). And then just eight years later the 1912 report of the Theosophical Society stated: “Our Lodges continue their propaganda work....Outside the Lodges many of the members engage in what is really Theosophical work such as lecturing, talking on the principles we are trying to put forward, preaching and other activities in connection with the Christian Churches and other organizations....”(Theosophist Magazine, Annie Besant, 1912, p. 88).

Nineteenth century occult mystic Fenton Hort is perhaps best known for his part in the work of the corrupt bible revision committee of 1881. Speaking on the subject of creating a new eclectic New Testament text Hort stated, “At present very many orthodox but rational men are being unawares acted upon by influences which will assuredly bear good fruit in due time, if the process is allowed to go on quietly;” (Life and letters of Fenton John Anthony Hort, Vol. 1, 1896, p. 400). Jeremiah said that “their course is evil, and their force is not right.” (Jer. 23:10). The apostle Paul warned, “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (II Cor. 11:14,15). In 1885 a Divine Healing Conference was held in London, England which drew supporters from all over the world. In the 1904 edition of his book, Old Diary Leaves, Theosophist Henry Steel Olcott commenting on the occult groups and their alleged “healings” in the late 1800's, stated that the following activity was occurring in various nations of the world, “the formation of Branches, the giving of lectures, healings of the sick by hundreds, occult phenomena produced by H. P. B., etc.” (Old Diary Leaves, Henry Olcott, 1904, p. 5).

New Age Luciferians call Satan the ”Capstone.” One of the most popular new Bible versions of the twentieth century, the NIV, calls Jesus Christ the ”Capstone.” Nowhere in scripture is Jesus Christ called the ”Capstone.” Jesus Christ is the “corner stone,” or “chief corner stone,” or “head of the corner”(Isaiah 28:16; Matthew 21:42; Mark 12:10; Luke 20:17; Acts 4:11; Ephesians 2:20; I Peter 2:6,7). To understand the significance of the use of the word ”Capstone,” we must understand the source. Lucifer said, “I will be like the most High”(Isa. 14:14). Throughout history Satan has attempted to set up his ultimate kingdom among men, in ancient Babylonian, Egyptian, Greek, Roman and other world empires. The Egyptian pyramid with its unfinished capstone containing the All Seeing Eye of the god of this world, Lucifer, can be seen throughout our early and modern societies. Lucifer's crowning achievement, or ambition to be “like the most High” will be fulfilled shortly as the Capstone is at last placed on the pyramid with the help of unsuspecting Christians who have fallen prey to Satan's scheme, and “all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb”(Rev. 13:8). The Lord said that “they have put no difference between the holy and profane”(Ezk. 22:26). God is commanding us to “come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”(II Cor. 6:17). It is high time for the true worshippers of God to show the “difference between the unclean and the clean,” and to expose Lucifer's schemes, “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”(John 4:23; II Cor. 2:9,11; 6:17). Theosophy

Brief notes of a Lecture given at the Victoria Institute by J. J. B. Coles, M. A., and of the discussion which followed.

The word Theosophy means not the “Wisdom of God” but “the wisdom of the gods,” or Universal Wisdom. It is the old temptation of the Serpent, “Ye shall be as gods.” Theosophy instills pride into the human heart, more than any other scheme of philosophy. Its results are unquestionably evil. Theosophy denies the deity of Christ, to hold the deity in every man. It denies the atonement; the forgiveness of sins; the mercy of God, in Christ, to the sinner. It makes man his own Saviour. It denies the truth of the resurrection and substitutes for it the idea of re-incarnations. The Theosophist openly and confessedly receives suggestions from those who profess to be highly evolved men of previous incarnations. The Christian rejects this testimony, and is therefore bound to believe that the real object behind these clairvoyant suggestions is both sinister and ominous. Holy Scripture states expressly (I Tim. iv: i) that such communications will be a striking characteristic of the closing days of this age or dispensation. Behind the “seducing spirits” is the great Adversary—the spirit that energizes in those who are ready to receive his teaching and to carry out his plans.

In theosophy at its best we are offered the old cures of old philosophies. It seems perfect madness to turn back to these when we have the true cure in the Gospel of Christ. The old treatment of wounds with boiling oil was antiseptic, no doubt, but we do not go back to this from the methods of modern surgery. Did Buddha reform the world? Did Plato satisfy the longings of the human heart? We read Plato with interest, to see how Paul gave what Plato longed for. Buddha professed to teach the perfect Way. Plato sought for Truth. Dare we go back to these, from One who said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,” from One who alone can give the Life which is lacking in all these human systems?

Religion and science are both eminently sane and clean things. Theosophy, on the other hand, is distinctly unclean and insane. All through Scripture, antagonism is expressed between the true God and any other. Theosophy flourishes in India because the same moral condition is found among the inhabitants of that land that was found among the inhabitants of Canaan before the Israelitish conquest. Let England beware lest she follow the example of the Hebrews, and become entangled with the philosophies of the conquered races and share their woes. (The Friend, A Religious and Literary Journal, 1912, p. 7)

Footnote

Platonism, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, New Agers and others deny the concept of hell, even though Jesus Christ lovingly forewarned us of a place of “everlasting fire” and “everlasting punishment” (Matt. 25:31-46). We are told by our Lord of a certain rich man who died and was buried - “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments.... And he cried and said... I am tormented in this flame.” (Luke 16:19-24 ). Jesus spoke of hell on numerous occasions in the Holy Scriptures (Matt. 5:22,29,30; 10:28; 11:23; 16:18; 18:9; 23:15,33; 25:31-46; Mark 9:43,45,47; Luke 10:15; 12:5; 16:19-24; Rev. 1:18; 20:13,14). Platonic philosophers and New Agers alike contradict the Holy Bible which teaches that hell is a place where souls are tormented eternally and are conscious of the suffering (Luke 16:23-31, Rev. 14:11, 20:10). Jesus said, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt. 7:22,23). “Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.” (Matt. 25:41).

“The Righteous Hath Hope In His Death“ (Prov. 14:32) “The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.” (Proverbs 14:32) Born again Christians who have passed on from this present evil world to be with the Lord are now at rest from their labors, and we need not sorrow over their natural death as the world sorrows over their dead. “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (I Thessalonians 4:13-18) “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.” (Job 19:25-27)

“For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” (I Corinthians 15:16-19)

“O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 7:24,25) “Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body” (Philippians 3:21).

Now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. Born again Christians will soon be reunited with loved ones in Christ, for our natural lives here are but for a brief moment. “For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” (James 4:14) “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” (John 3:7). “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63)

And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” (I Peter 1:23-25)

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (I John 5:13)

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:1,2)

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” (Eph. 1:13); “Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.” (I Peter 1:9)

“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” (I John 3:14)

“Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” (I Peter 2:1,2)

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” (Romans 15:4)

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.” (I Corinthians 15:1-6)

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I Corinthians 15:51-57)

Q. What do Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormonism, Scientology, Free Masonry and Catholicism all have in common? A. They all teach that you cannot trust nor believe the Holy Bible; and that you must put your faith in their theologies, traditions, customs and rituals in order to please God and have everlasting life.
