So, polish up your breastplate and wear it proudly, that it may reflect our Father's Son, our High Priest. Ephesians 6 calls it "...the breastplate of righteousness." That's the same significance Aaron's Breastplate had. In our next installment, we'll delve a little further into the tribes and other things. 	We're going to make a little trip back to the Garden episode between satan (the serpent) and Eve to show how he uses cunning words to work his will in humanity. Can we really imagine that our Father would have taught Eve what evil was? Surely not; therefore, we have to conclude that she knew only good. Additionally, can we imagine our Father taught satan (once a high priest of God) evil? Surely not; therefore, we must conclude that satan himself devised evil. Think for a moment; if an individual breaks the first Commandment, that act exposes the individual to a plethora of evil simply because they have opted to worship another god -- which could even be them selves. In the case of satan, he did worship himself, and his sin was in fact exactly as we've just described. No matter how high a priest (preacher, teacher) is elevated -- even by our Father -- he yet must be submissive to God's Word. Once that priest (preacher, teacher) takes it upon himself to deviate from God's Word, then that individual has placed himself in God's position. That's why satan has committed the unpardonable sin -- making himself as God -- which he will parade for the entire world to see in the near future. Our study will take a little turn today, but I feel compelled to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Someone just may be waiting on this very study.
